Fun Stuff

Need something to brighten your day? Try out the Cyborger. It will tell you what your name would stand for if you were a cyborg. I for example would be a:

  • E.D.D.A.: Electronic Device Designed for Assassination or a
  • E.S.T.H.E.R.: Electronic Synthetic Troubleshooting and Hazardous Exploration Replicant

Oh and have a look at this google search. The result isn’t all that surprising :)

Sorry about the link. I don’t allow html in here because I don’t want f***ers to mess with my site. This might result from my new thesis related knowledge of security issues. I see danger everywhere ;) If you post links without html tags MT will automatically transform it into a clickable link though.

Anyway, your question:
I love MT. It’s got great features and a great community. If you have any questions or feature requests just go to their forums and you’ll have an answer shortly afterward, often from Ben himself (one of the programmers). I don’t know how hard it is to set up compared to blogger as I’ve never tried blogger but if you follow the instructions it’s really not that hard to do. Plus if you have problems or questions, just go to the forums. You need a server you can run your own cgi’s on but I guess that’s nothing new for you.
It took me a little while before I knew what all the templates were for but again it’s not that complicated and they have a good help file. So yeah, I LOVE MT. But I can’t say anything about its complexity compared to blogger.
