Game Soundtracks
We're just listening to soundtracks from some classic games like Giana Sisters, Bubble Bobble and Turrican. The good old times :)

Many old Amiga and Atari games are being ported to the GBA currently. There is still hope they’ll also do this one :)

Why bother with a potentially botched console/handheld port when you can play all of the good old games on your PC? There’s VICE or Frodo for C64 and UAE for Amiga emulation. Both work really well on current hardware.
Now what I really wish is that one would still be able to get decent joysticks like those Competition Pro of old…

The joystick issue is the reason I don’t much like emulators. I’d rather buy those old machines. I still have my old Amiga plus half-decent Joystick (unfortunately no Competition Pro) and games. But I don’t have a cable to attach it to my TV :(

You have your Amiga? Can I come over and play Blood Money & Chaos Engine?

Sure thing! Hmm. Well I used to have Chaos Engine. But it must have gotten lost somewhere. I don’t think I know Blood Money. But it sounds like fun :)

Blood Money was pretty cool for an Amiga shooter of its time - it was done by DMA Designs (the people who brought us Lemmings and more or less recently GTA) for Psygnosis. It had this kinda-cool voiceover “First… there was Menace… blablala … Blooooooodmoney!”. If memory serves me right, killed enemy ships spawned coins which you could collect.
As to Chaos Engine - that and Fire and Ice are the two sole reasons I keep my CD32 around. Haven’t checked in a while wether it still works, though.
