Warcraft III

Warcraft III has been released this week. Have a look at this fan site's collection of unit responses. Some of them make you fall off your chair. Lots of great Monty Python and other movie and TV references. I'm sure there's many I didn't get...

It was about time you played that game! Of course I totally understand you don’t have time for blogging under those circumstances :)

sniff (;_;)
my ps2 is still on loan to my friend…
i got a fews days of FFX before i lent it out, and daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn… it was good.

advice: buy at least a week’s worth of food before you start, and three times your normal coffee supply. unless there’s a fire, you will not want to leave your house or sleep until you finish it.

(or maybe i’m just addicted to FF…?)

:)

I tried it for about 30 minutes and then my bro took his PS2 to his friend. So know the feeling ;) The game looked fantastic! But it did start rather slow. I played for 30 minutes and have the feeling nothing happened. In Golden Sun I had saved a village by that time ;)

yeah, the whole feeling of it (as far as i got!) is more subdued than the rest of the series.

you do have bits that get really tense and all, but not really up to sephiroth scary levels… ;)
(bit then, ff7 was always my favourite :D )

Warcraft 3 is much fun. Basically the same as the others, not much new as far as the mechanics of the game go, but the story is great, the missions are well designed, and it looks great. But I suppose you already knew that.

Don’t make me buy a PS2, I don’t have any room for it!

What? You don’t have a PS2? OMG! How do you manage to resist?

Oh and, yeah, already knew that :) And I totally agree!

Well… see, I decided to get an Xbox. I can’t quite justify to my cheap (frugal) self that I could have an Xbox AND a PS2. Although I actually could, but it would just give me more of a tendancy to sit on the couch, when what I really need is less sitting on the couch and more doing other things. So, well, you know.

But the Xbox is EVIL! They wanted to sell it for €479 when it got released here. And then they complained that nobody wanted to buy it. Seriously though I currently don’t see any original Xbox titles that really interest me. Plus the games are more expensive than PS2 and Cube games. And the controller is way too big for my tiny hands ;)
