Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday dear GBA! It's the GBA's first birthday today (or was it yesterday?).

GBA is getting officially ‘too good’ for me to handle nowadays… stuff like v-rally and all these doom clones coming out are just so quality. GBA most definitely rocks.

me: “look! 3D! on GBA!”
non-gamer friend: “(sarcastic) sure. great.”
me: slap

;)

Yeah. It’s great that we get all those SNES remakes now. Although I think they shouldn’t charge full price for a remake.

Oh and: Don’t listen to those people. They don’t know what’s good.

i totally agree about pricing… sigh
the problem is, those old SNES games are so good, it’s impossible not to buy them! argh!

plus, stuff like castlevania, f-zero, almost like SNES ones, but with added “mmm… :)” .

in other, bad, news: GBA batteries run out! no spares in house! :( . off to shop in a sec to get some.

and, you damn right they don’t know what’s good. i’m off to see one today. hope they’re ready for a good slapping… ;D

I use reachargeable batteries for my GBA. They run out much faster than the other ones though so my charger runs almost 24/7 currently…

Hope you didn’t slap them too hard. It’s not good if they can’t remember what you slapped them for :)

ah, rechargees.

i had a bad experience with some once, so i’ve stayed away since then. maybe i’m ready to try them again.
(must be strong, must be strong)

the slapping went well, btw…. ;D

I use Rayovac ones. They are pretty cool. I’m using the rechargeable alkalines because you can store them charged and they won’t lose power. Rayovac claims that their NiMH batteries are better than even normal alkaline ones. I’ll have to look out for those (the Afterburner eats through a pair of batteries quite fast).

Heh heh :) So do they know what’s good now?

nice sales pitch… ;D

unfortunately, the only thing they know is that slaps are bad… *sigh*…
one day, they will know…

You have to condition them to think slaps are good!
