Petanque

Today we played Pétanque close to one of the rivers here. That place was especially made for playing that game. It was packed with people. We were lucky to get a spot to play on. It was very neat there. Close by the water, surrounded by trees, sunshine. There were people playing Go. I've never seen people play Go in a park except us. Very nice atmosphere. I have a feeling I will spend a lot of time there in the future.

Some of the people playing there were really good. Their boules often landed exactly on the spot they wanted them too. Ours were usually quite unpredictable compared to that :) But now that I know about this cool spot I'll go play there more often and in a couple of years or so I'll be better too.
